RailScan and VBU-Scan
RailScan is a laser measurement system for measuring the profile of railroad embankments and the placement of cables in the embankment. The system was developed together with RailVac AB and is marketed by Disab.
RailScan is the ideal tool for planning excavation works on the railroad. It is used in combination with the RailVac vacuum excavator and the VBU embankment excavator. The VBU is also equipped with a laser scanner from Mobile Robotics.
RailScan is a perfect example of Mobile Robotics capability to design advanced high technology systems that can be used efficiently in rough environments!
